What this site collects

When you load a page, our servers receive the standard information every web request carries — your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. It is recorded in ordinary server logs, used to keep the site running and secure (for example, to diagnose errors or block abuse), and is not used to build a profile of you or sold to anyone.

That is the full list for public visitors. We do not ask for your name, email address or location.

Accounts

The public site has no accounts and no sign-up. The only sign-in is Operator Sign In, which is for the 12Watch operator and uses Google sign-in with an allowlist. If you are not on that list, signing in does not create an account or store your details beyond the server log of the attempt.

Cookies and local storage

Public pages set no cookies. The one cookie 12Watch uses is the operator's session cookie for the private app under /app, which is only set after an operator signs in.

Public pages do not use browser storage to track you. If you use the share buttons, the link is placed on your clipboard or handed to your device's share sheet; we do not see what you do with it.

Embedded players and outside services

When the operator runs a public live broadcast, the video may be delivered through a third-party streaming or embed provider. An embedded player is loaded from that provider and may set its own cookies or collect its own data under its own privacy policy. Clip videos and images are served from our media storage.

Links that open other sites — such as sharing to X — take you to that service, which has its own policies.

What we never publish

The private 12Watch field app processes public-safety radio. None of that working material appears on this site: no radio audio, no machine-generated transcripts, no active incident locations, no operator location or route, and no footage the operator has not deliberately published.

People in published footage

Published clips document public events. If you appear in a published clip and want to raise a concern — for example about your safety or privacy — contact us and we will review it. We may remove or edit a clip where it is appropriate to do so.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes and contact
